We are moving to the Midwest...we're not exactly sure yet so we'll be in transition for a while. We're moving to Kraig's hometown, Sioux Center and then will be deciding where to move from there. This will be dependent on jobs, schools (for me) and family. We are ready to live closer to family.
Here are some photos of our adventures over the past three weeks. We've also had other adventures in Iowa and Alberta in the past 2 months but they are too numerous to post about...today.

Graduation!
As some of you know Kraig is graduating this Saturday! With all the kafuffle of graduation, celebrating, and packing for our trip I'm afraid I'll forget to post so I'm doing this a couple days early! 144 credits! It won't be official for another month or so, but I think we can celebrate now.Congrats Kraig! I am so proud of your hard work and perseverance!
Ventura Beach Party!
Kyri turned 9 months old this weekend. She is just starting to experience separation and stranger anxiety a bit, and Kraig thinks she'll start crawling while I'm visiting my family in Alberta.
Kyri and I won't see Kraig for 2 weeks! We depend on each other so much to take care of Kyri, which will be difficult, but I always find it difficult to be away from Kraig for longer than a day or two. Luckily, there will be lots of fun to distract me.
We thought we'd fill our summer full, so we headed to Ventura this weekend. Last weekend we were just getting back from Iowa and this coming weekend Kraig will be graduating and then we'll be leaving again.

We left our place mid-day Saturday, with just enough time to catch at afternoon at the beach with the Keims and the Newcombes. Then Doug and Renee stopped by in the evening. Kraig managed to avoid getting burned before his interview.
At the beach Kyri loved playing with the large smooth rocks while sitting on the beach towel and watching the waves splash her legs.
So that's the news in Pasadena, where, "All the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average."
Photos of Kyri are compliments of Gloria "Glo" Hsu.

A Quote...
Some have been thought brave because they were afraid to run away. - Thomas Fuller
So this is a random quote I ran across today. It's interesting to me that sometimes waiting is the best option and other times taking action is what is required. The wisdom is in knowing the difference.

Preacha, Preach it!
Kraig preached a sermon on the story of Mary and Martha in Sioux Center, Iowa (his hometown) on May 25. If you want to hear it click here
